Terms of Service

1. General

These terms apply to all services provided by Hartlepool Car Service Centre, including vehicle recovery, repairs, servicing, and locking wheel nut removal. By booking a service, you agree to these terms.

2. Quotes and Estimates

All prices provided via our website or phone are estimates based on the information you provide.

We reserve the right to amend the price if the vehicle’s condition or location (for recovery) is different from described.

We will always attempt to contact you before carrying out additional work not previously agreed upon.

3. Vehicle Recovery & Transport
Arrival Times: All recovery times provided are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by over-runs on previous jobs, traffic congestion, road closures, or adverse weather conditions.
Prioritization: As a recovery service, we may occasionally have to prioritize emergency roadside situations. We will always endeavor to keep you informed of any significant changes to your estimated arrival time.
Access: You must ensure the vehicle is in a position where it can be safely accessed and recovered. If the vehicle is inaccessible or the location is unsafe, a call-out fee may still apply.

4. Locking Wheel Nut Removal

Our specialists use professional tools to remove locking nuts without damaging alloys.

However, if a nut has been previously over-tightened or damaged by a third party, we cannot guarantee zero damage to the nut itself. We are not liable for damage caused by pre-existing tool fatigue or previous failed removal attempts.

5. Payments & Liens

Payment is due immediately upon completion of work unless a prior account has been established.

Under UK law, we exercise a "Lien" over any vehicle in our possession. This means we may hold the vehicle until all outstanding invoices for work performed are paid in full.

6. Storage Fees

Vehicles left at our premises at Sandgate Industrial Estate for more than 48 hours after completion of work (without prior arrangement) may be subject to a daily storage fee.

7. Liability

We are not liable for any personal belongings left in the vehicle. Please remove all valuables before recovery or servicing.

Our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service provided.

8. Complaints & Governing Law
